DESCRIPTION:Seeking to form a summer Chaburah primarily on WhatsApp and in 
 person weekly developing the themes of Rabbi Kalonymus Kalman Shapira, wid
 ely known as the Piaseczno Rebbe, one of the most influential Chassidic ma
 sters of the twentieth century. 

More detail: Born in Poland in 1889, he 
 became Rebbe of Piaseczno (near Warsaw) at a young age and devoted his lif
 e to educating both adults and youth in spiritual growth. His teachings em
 phasize that closeness to Hashem is attainable through disciplined concent
 ration, sincere prayer, emotional refinement, and constant inner work to u
 se one’s thoughts for קדושה.

During the Holocaust, the Rebbe continued to
  teach and inspire the Jews confined in the Warsaw Ghetto under unimaginab
 le circumstances. His wartime derashos were secretly preserved and later p
 ublished as Esh Kodesh (Holy Fire), one of the most profound works of Jewi
 sh faith written during the Holocaust. The Rebbe was murdered by the Nazis
