Seeking to form a summer Chaburah primarily on WhatsApp and in person weekly developing the themes of Rabbi Kalonymus Kalman Shapira, widely known as the Piaseczno Rebbe, one of the most influential Chassidic masters of the twentieth century. More detail: Born in Poland in 1889, he became Rebbe of Piaseczno (near Warsaw) at a young age and devoted his life to educating both adults and youth in spiritual growth. His teachings emphasize that closeness to Hashem is attainable through disciplined concentration, sincere prayer, emotional refinement, and constant inner work to use one’s thoughts for קדושה. During the Holocaust, the Rebbe continued to teach and inspire the Jews confined in the Warsaw Ghetto under unimaginable circumstances. His wartime derashos were secretly preserved and later published as Esh Kodesh (Holy Fire), one of the most profound works of Jewish faith written during the Holocaust. The Rebbe was murdered by the Nazis in 1943 during Operation Harvest Festival (Aktion Erntefest)
